We all know that paperwork and administration can take a very long time, and sometimes just filing a complaint about something doesn’t suffice. When this man from Dallas, Texas spotted a rather dangerous pothole in the street, he decided to take a very creative and original approach to fix the problem.

The man wanted the safety hazard fixed, so he decided to take a number of hilarious photos of the pothole to gather some attention.

Max Miley has certainly won over the entire internet by trying to garner attention for this dangerous pothole. He first spotted it while he was on his way to hit the gym. The hole, situated right in the middle of a crosswalk at North Greenville Avenue and Pebblebrook Drive, had been there for way too long.

Max wanted to do something about it – and he discovered the perfect way to do so.

The man wanted to emphasize that this wasn’t just your regular hole in the road, but it was definitely dangerous and even an accident waiting to happen. Instead of going through the official route which would involve a lot of paperwork and a long time before it ever got fixed, Max decided to use the power of social media instead.

Max couldn’t even see the bottom of the hole because it was so deep, but he did manage to figure out a couple of ways to take funny pictures.

For his first picture, he decided to step into the hole with his foot deep inside of it. The man posted it on his Facebook profile, hoping that city officials would do something about it rather quickly.

“It has been there for too long and is a crosswalk that kids use to walk to school,” he posted. “So I sent this picture to the city and will see how long it takes them to cover it.”

One day later, the hole still hadn’t been fixed. Max decided to take it up a notch.

The man wasn’t about to give up anytime soon, and their decision to just ignore the problem only made his determination and creativity bigger.

“The hole in the middle of the crosswalk that I posted about yesterday, is still not fixed. I’m thinking about sending these pictures to the city to see if it will get some action.”

In the next picture, he put a baby doll who was sinking into the hole. The picture is rather remarkable and funny, to say the least – but the third and final picture tops it.

In this one, Max decides to give golf a whole different meaning!

The pictures were shared plenty of times, and one of Max’s friends sent the pictures to city officials before the man had the chance himself.

Max did keep an eye out, and the hole was finally fixed the next day. A city worker arrived and simply filled up the hole with asphalt, getting rid of the safety hazard on the road.

It’s definitely a win for Max, although most of his friends are now quite sad that the issue has been resolved. After all – that also means that there won’t be any more funny and creative pictures!

“Your pictures are cracking me up!” one person commented.
