Summer is definitely the season for the great outdoors. The clear blue skies and warm weather attract all matters of life to basque in the warmth of the sun and enjoy the splendor of it all. It’s an open invitation to come out and let go of all your common woes and stresses about life and just dip your feet in some refreshing water.

For a couple of moose in scenic Montana, they were more than happy to take advantage of the opportunity. Luckily, the rare occurrence was caught on video footage and quickly spread like wildfire.

A woman, by the name of Maria Bennett, Facebook shared the entire footage of a man that recorded the entire scene. Two bull moose, in Georgetown Lake near Anaconda, Montana, were having the time of their lives out in nature. It is apparently a rarity to see such things occur in Montana due to the animals doing a great job of naturally staying out of sight.

That didn’t stop these two from frolicking around. As they splashed around in pure bliss, one could only wonder how much the moose were looking forward to such a refreshing time. We’re glad they took their time and gave us a one-of-a-kind experience too!

We see our camera-woman calmly begin to film the moose as they casually partake in their survival duties. In a blink of an eye, the moose on the water begins to wildly skedaddle his way over to Maria while splashing up a storm.

Suddenly, he makes the decision to abort the mission and instead decides to run along for some fun. He turns to face his companion and then heads in that direction to be reunited. Once on land, the two look to be stirring the pot once more with their adorable horseplay.

The two trotted until a bush concealed them from sight. A moment’s pause to beg the question: what are these moose up to? One has to consider that bull moose can sometimes tend to be aggressive especially when all forms of organisms pose a threat to these creatures.

Their razor-sharp hooves can shred through the thickest of surfaces and can really land a deathly blow to humans, bears, and even wolves alike.

Moose have something more worrisome to be careful of. They must be wary of the brain worm, a parasite that is contracted from consuming snails. These parasites serve their namesake and attack the moose’s brain causing strong neurological damage.

Despite the fears, these moose were clearly just looking to have some fun. They remained close together for some more fun in the water after their escapade into the land. With all that movement, it’s truly amazing that their energy never ran out!

In their final act, the moose swam pranced one last time in the water and then took off into the horizon. These two have had enough of the show and decided it was time to get back to doing moose related things. At least the moose were able to give us a sneak peek into some of the more recreational activities moose partake in.
