Little boy looks at grandma with all seriousness and asks “I’m poor ain’t I?”

June 17th, 2021

Jake Boone is an astute young man who likes to tell it how it is.

The little cutie has learned a thing or two in his day (in his very short few years on this planet) and he is more than willing to share those lessons. As a matter of fact, the kid’s got some pretty solid knowledge that everyone can benefit from hearing.

With that in mind, his family began recording little Jake as he goes about his day-to-day routine and, can we just say, we are so glad they did.

Jake has exactly zero fears about sharing his knowledge with anyone who will listen.

Though this little tot is a cutie all on his own, His Kentuckian accent put his charm over the top.

His adorable accent has this little guy sound like an old southern gentleman.

Jake Boone is from the small community of Sunfish, Kentucky. It’s located in the northwest corner of Edmonson County, Kentucky, United States, near the Grayson County line.

He is that quintessential country kid we all love. But, where does he get his wisdom? We’re assuming he picks it up from the people he’s spending a lot of his time with.

Jake has the honor of hanging out with his grandparents quite a bit.

This is where Jake’s expertise in life comes from. Jake’s “grammy” is the woman behind most of the videos who asks him the important questions of life on the farm. Grammy knows how special her grandson is and does not want to miss a moment.

At just 3-years-old, Jake won the $10,000 first-place prize for America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Jake’s parents sent in a video of Jake “helping” his mother with the grocery list.

Seeing that Jake is a natural on camera, they decided that his charms would make lots of viewers want to tune in and wait for his next episodes.

Jake has been the best helper for any member of his family. He wanted to write down every item his mother would need from the store, even though he could not write yet. That is what we call the language of love. Such an adorable little guy.

And how sweet is that? How many of us still insist on helping Mom with the groceries?

This video went viral on YouTube, soon after its America’s Funniest Home Videos debut.

Jake’s family knew that Jake’s personality should be shared all the time, so they created his own YouTube channel, “Life According to Jake Boone”.

Jakes’s family made him a YouTube channel because he clearly needs to be shared with the world.

Jake has over 35.8 thousand subscribers. Jake’s family also created his own Facebook page with the same name that has 706,399 followers.

Everyone wants to see what Jake has to say.

Jake’s mother told their local news station WBKO,

“He’s like a old person in a little person’s body. He says some of the funniest things. And he’s really a sweet kid. He has a good heart.”

One morning Jake was sitting at the table talking with his grammy when she started recording.

Jake and his grandma were just talking about life on the farm, but talking about life with Jake will always lead to a bit of unknowing humor. This day was no different as he wondered and asked her if he was poor.

And hey, all of us wonder the same thing regardless of our jobs and lifestyles. Jake’s just way ahead.

Jake is telling his grammy about his flatbed truck and his trailer that he uses for work down near the cows. If you think he is exaggerating or talking about the adult’s trucks and trailers, you are in for a surprise.

It’s no joke, Jake really does have his very own flatbed truck and trailer to help on the farm.

Jake is not afraid of pitching in on the farm, all on his own.

He moves the conversation onto the topic of the straw on the farm. He lets his grammy know he does not have to load it himself because that is what pappy does.

Once the subject of pappy comes up, Jake’s mind starts to wonder. Pappy has two trailers but he only has one and that can only mean one thing in Jake’s mind.

He looks straight at grammy and says, “I’m poor, ain’t I?”

This will not only make you smile but he also made his grammy giggle. Jake’s grammy made sure to describe the video as,

“Jake wondering if he could possibly be poor?! No way! He’s rich in love that’s most important!”

Rich in love is the most important. As we know, grammy’s are always right.
