There’s no denying the power of music. So it makes sense that when passersby hear Brendan Kavanagh playing boogie-woogie on the piano, sometimes they’re stopped in their tracks.

Even the young can’t resist the beauty of a good song. Just like a little school girl named Zoe, who was so moved by Kavanagh’s performance of a Mary Poppins tune – that she decided to dance right alongside him.

The video of their duet was so adorable that it quickly went viral gathering more than a million views. Kavanagh (AKA: Dr K) decided to surprise fans by inviting her back for a repeat show – but this time, she’s not the only stranger who can’t resist joining in!

Brendan Kavanagh is an internet sensation known for bringing smiles to people’s faces with his impromptu piano playing.

In addition to being a musician, Kavanagh’s also an author, educator, and entrepreneur. However, he came to the decision to direct focus on the videos he makes, and now has more than 900,000 subscribers on YouTube.

If you hear the sounds of amazing boogie-woogie coming from a public piano in London, who knows – it could be Dr K! However, don’t think you’ll always be able to recognize him…

Occasionally, Kavanagh dresses in costumes that give his performances an extra kick. He’s tickled the ivories as a construction worker, police officer, pilot, and even disguised in a hood.

Boogie-woogie isn’t the only type of music that Kavanagh knows how to play. According to his Facebook page, he also creates original songs and experiments with a variety of other genres as well.

As you’ll see in the video below, Kavanagh’s also a wizard on the piano when it comes to Mary Poppins classics. What makes his train station performance even better though, is that he once again has Zoe by his side.

For their most recent duet, six-year-old Zoe returns wearing her bright yellow dress and matching hat. Frankly, she looks like she could be an extra in the movie if one was needed.

While Kavanagh plays the street piano, Zoe dances along to the sounds. She hops around joyfully using her skills that she says come from tap, ballet, and modern. Together, the pair are quite the delight!

As Dr K begins his rendition of the iconic song, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” there’s another person who feels compelled to approach.

An older gentleman who noticed the scene walks up clapping his hands with a huge smile on his face. He begins singing all the memorable lyrics, turning their duet into a trio.

Other strangers turn to stare at their mini-musical, which is as fun and light-hearted as it gets. As “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” comes to an end Zoe even gives everyone a grand finale move of the splits.

But they weren’t done yet! There was still time for “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” which the stranger also sings beautifully.

By no surprise, the internet has fallen in love with this soul-lifting performance as well.

“What a wonderful ray of sunshine the little girl is! Made my day!”

Another commenter said:

“Wow! I can’t stop smiling! Awesome joining of generations!”
