What in the world did we do without doorbell cameras? While they’re supposed to serve as an extra layer of protection for homeowners, the things caught on them are often hilarious. Thanks to this innovative technology, people have uploaded all kinds of crazy videos for the world to enjoy.

Keeping homes safe

The great thing about these cameras is that when they detect motion, they send the homeowner an alert. Upon receiving that, the individual can view their home in real-time. In some instances, ring cameras have helped to deter crime. Other times, they catch, well, something you’d never expect to see.

Waiting on a package

For one homeowner, they were waiting to have a package delivered. So, when they received an alert that someone was at their house, they didn’t think too much about it. After looking, they confirmed it was the delivery man.

The joy of having kids

This homeowner, like many others, has kids. For them, drawing with chalk on the sidewalk is a favorite pastime. On a particular day, that’s what her children did…on the walkway leading up to the front door.

Hopscotch

Rather than drawing funny pictures or just scribbling, this person’s children decided to make Hopscotch squares. Although this game was popular decades ago, it’s once again a fun thing for kids to do today.

So, what was on the video?

At first, you see an Amazon delivery man standing at the person’s door. He’s entering information into a handheld computer to show it was dropped off. But then, he does something completely unexpected.

He sees it

The guy first steps back and takes one last look at the package he just left. Then, as he turns around, that’s when he notices the chalk drawing done by the homeowner’s children. You know, the Hopscotch squares. As he approaches, something comes over him.

Hop, skip, and jump

You guessed it. That chalk drawing compelled him to hop his way back to his delivery vehicle. It’s too bad the video doesn’t have sound because we can imagine him whistling as he goes.

He’s pretty darn good

What makes this even funnier is that this guy knows how to Hopscotch. He hits every square just right. Then there’s the fact he has no clue anyone’s watching. But now, it’s not just the homeowner but other people from around the globe who’ve enjoyed his special skill.

This guy must be happy, which makes everyone who sees the video feel the same way. He doesn’t appear to take life too seriously despite a pandemic. We’re certain his actions made this homeowner’s day. And after showing it to her kids, they undoubtedly loved it too.
