The X-Factor judge Rita Ora’s six chairs are filled but there are still singers who will perform. Who will be the final six?

It’s singer Kiera Weathers turn to sing now.

Throughout the show until before the six chair challenge, Kiera had been getting praises from the judges for her performances.

That’s why when she stepped out on stage for the six chair challenge, the six girls already in the chairs gasped and became so worried about their fate now.

While the girls were worried, Kiera was also worried and scared. Before she stepped on stage, her biggest fear would be that she’d be sent off stage and told she won’t be getting a chair.

“I’m gonna do everything I can to get that chair,” Kiera told presenters, Oily Murs and Caroline Flack.

When she got on stage, her mentor, Rita Ora, told Kiera she’s not alright and asked Kiera if she is.

“You know what?” Kiera answered Rita’s question. “Right now, seeing these guys [sitting] here and the competition has given me so much determination to show you why I deserve to [sit] there along with [these] girls.”

Even if the girls weren’t nervous before, they’re nervous now. Kiera had a fire in her eyes and she was prepared to sit on Rita’s chair.

For this audition, Kiera decided to sing Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” because it reminded her of her mother who passed away two years before. Her mom used to sing this song to her all the time. And it broke her heart that she couldn’t celebrate her X-Factor experience with her mom.

“I’m singing this song to say thank you to her for getting me where I am now because I know she’s been watching over me,” Kiera shared with The X-Factor judges, contestants, and audience. “I just want to let her know that I appreciate it and I can feel it here.”

And she did channel her mom’s presence and spirit during her performance and gave it her all.

It was so evident in Rita’s face, who realized she was going to have a hard time deciding Kiera’s fate. And the other contestants knew one of them was going to lose their chair but who was it going to be?

Even the contestants backstage, who were still waiting for their turn to sing, knew it was going to be hard to go up against Kiera and take her chair if and when she gets it.

And when Kiera finished, she received a standing ovation from the three judges and the audience inside the venue. Rita remained seated, troubled with the decision she needed to make in the next minute.

The judges agreed that it was a beautiful performance.

Judge Cheryl said she did her mother proud, her grandparents, and herself proud. Judge Simon said Kiera sang it very well and just when he thought he knew where it was going, Kiera turned it on its head.

It was time for mentor Rita to give her feedback.

“Kiera, I think you picked the right song,” Rita started. “I believed your conviction was there. Your presence was there. But you know how amazing these six girls are.”

The audience started cheering for Kiera and shouting their opinion to Rita.

“I really, really hope you got how much I want this and how much I’m going to put up a fight for this,” Kiera fought for herself. “I believe I can do this and I want to be here.”
