When someone is talented and excels at something, it’s anticipated that the children of that person would become as talented as him.
But are talents really genetic?
According to Science Focus, the answer is yes. However, they added that apart from heredity, practicing your talent is also a way to develop it.
“A popular theory is that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert at something, and there is probably a degree of truth in this. But if your genes give you an aptitude for and enjoyment of chess, maths, music or football, you are surely more likely to put in those long hours.”

He is the son of Willie Nelson, who is a prominent country singer and songwriter.
Aside from being the son of a famous musician, Lukas has worked hard to establish himself in the music industry. Just like his dad, he is able to build his own name as a musician. He is the frontman of the group Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.

He and his group have gained lots of fans and as of this writing, their Facebook page has over 300,000 followers.
Back in 2013, a video of Lukas was posted on YouTube.
In the clip, he can be heard singing his dad’s classic song – Always On My Mind. The original version of this song was also uploaded on YouTube back in 2009. Willie was singing it live and it was an emotional performance. The clip has received over 66 million views.
While with Lukas’s video, you will hear how he was singing the song beautifully and his voice will really amaze you. It’s because his voice really sounds like his dad’s.
It’s safe to say that aside from Willie, the other person who can give justice to his timeless hit is his talented child. (And Elvis, of course.)
The video has amazed lots of people and it’s evident in the number of how many times it has been viewed. It has gained a whopping 7.6 million views! Aside from that, it also received positive comments from the viewers.
Most of them also mentioned the similarities between Lukas and his dad’s voice.
