Couple Who’d Never Danced Before Practices For Nine Months For Swing Dance At Wedding
This young couple wanted to pull off a surprise for their guests and decided a fun dance performance would be the perfect way. Except for one important detail – neither one of them knew how to dance. They spent 9 months teaching themselves from YouTube videos and the result is not only phenomenal – it’s incredibly fun to watch.

She saunters over to the middle of the dance floor like a sexy kitten, flirtatiously swaying her hips to the beat. He starts kicking his legs from side-to-side like a hot-to-trot, smooth-movin’ fox out on a hunt.

The crowd is hushed and staring in wide-eyed wonder at the couple, taking it all in as the music of Benny Goodman starts to flow.

This, my friends, is how all epic wedding swing dance parties should start! With two people staring eye to eye, pondering their next sneaky move.

In a rollicking fun video that captures one of the best wedding swing dances ever, we can see a crowd of guests gathered around the dance floor. They’re all grinning from ear to ear, smiling in anticipation of what’s to come next.

The question is, do they even know about the sweet treat their eyes are about to behold?

Of course, the bride is as beautiful as always in her flouncy white dress, but that’s not the eye candy I’m talking about.

And yes, the groom is handsomely outfitted in the usual groom duds – a black tux, with the tux part removed, but he’s still a pretty cool cat with those retro suspender strips of his!

It’s obvious the couple had planned this dance from the start, but it doesn’t make it any less fun to watch them tiptoe and stomp around each other like a pair of monkeys gleefully swinging through the rainforest canopy.

And boy do they have the “swinging” part nailed, and with Benny Goodman’s “Swing Swing” in the background, that’s what this dance is all about!

After twirling around like a happy dog chasing his tail, the groom points to the bride to let her know that it’s her turn to try and impress him.

She brings her shoulders together like a coy little mouse, and while bouncing around in place she purposely avoids looking him in the eye. Her body language says everything he needs to know: “Hey buddy boy, you’re the one who still needs to work on getting my attention!”

It was back to the drawing board for the poor bloke, but the groom thinks he knows what he wants to try out next.

At first the couple walk past each other, just close enough to get under each other’s skin. When he gently grabs his girl around the waist, she doesn’t push him away but responds in kind, letting him know that it’s finally “game on!”

The two of them waste no time in getting jiggy with twists, turns, and toe-stomping fun, and there wasn’t a single part of the dance floor they didn’t cover with their quick-moving feet.

The crowd couldn’t get enough of their cheeky antics, especially when the groom scooped up his new wife and held her in his arms. Although there was no threshold for him to carry the bride over, everyone could see in their eyes that their wedding night had alread begun.

As one YouTuber commented after watching their high-flying antics:

“I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted!!.”

Even though it might be exhausting watching them move around like young newlyweds, you’ll probably never actually tire of watching this wedding couple swing dance over and over again.

But the most amazing part about their story isn’t the fact they pulled off an incredible first dance . . .

It’s the fact that 9 months before their wedding neither one of them even knew how to dance!

They wanted to treat their guests to a fun surprise and using YouTube videos as their guide, practiced for nine months in a small room. An their hard work most certainly paid off.
