Tap dancing is equivalent to playing an instrument with your feet. This unique style originated in the early 19th century at about the same time as African and Irish dance forms. It’s a more improvised jazz type dance that’s full of life and passion. If you’ve never seen or heard a tap dance performance you’re in for a treat.
When it comes to youngins tap-dancing, it’s easily the sweetest thing ever. Of course, it takes them a bit to get used to wearing instruments on their feet but starting them at a young age can help them flourish in the dance community. You won’t want to miss this adorable little dance troop ready to show off their tap dancing skills! They were dancing to the song ‘Faith’ by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande.
Time For The Spotlight
This upbeat melody is a perfect song to tap too and these tappers were more than ready to get dancing. They strutted out with their yellow princess dresses with yellow flowers clipped in their hair. As soon as you saw their costumes you knew this was going to be a precious performance. They started off with heel-toe moves and began to shuffle all across the dance floor.
This performance is sure to melt your heart when you see how well all of these tiny tappers move together. The dance crew was a bit timid to start but the more they started getting comfortable on stage the more confident they felt. The troop spun and scuffled proudly on the polished floors some even got spunky while they were in the spotlight.
Boogie Woogie Troop
If you’ve ever been to a dance recital you know how adorable it is when these tiny dancers get on stage. You’ll hear the whole crowd say “AWWW” right before the music starts. These tiny tappers definitely put on a performance for the crowd to cheer for! The troop became more and more comfortable which made their moves more in sync throughout the dance. This exuberant Stevie Wonder song was a perfect match for these talented little dancers.
Showing Off Their Moves
Some of these talents really let their personalities shine on the dance floor and it’s honestly pretty funny to watch. It can be really nerve-racking when you get on that stage for the first time, especially for the youngins. Stage fright is real and when you’re supposed to go up there and dance, it can be even more terrifying.
Time To Celebrate
But this bright and yellow crew didn’t seem too frightened at all! They excelled as the dance went on, twirling and shuffle stepping perfectly. Dancers have plenty of practice before they hit the big stage. All of that practice helps the troop bond and also become more skilled with their routine.
Round Of Applause
These tiny tappers practice really paid off! They had an excellent performance and ending their dance with an adorable bow at the end had everyone’s hearts melting. Way to go girls!
