We all know the story of Goldilocks – a girl searching to find something that’s just right. A couple in Montana realized that a ‘Goldilocks’ of their own had apparently found their closet to be just right for a nap. The identity of this wild intruder will shock you.

Around 5:00 AM, the Montana homeowners were jolted from their sleep by some strange sounds. They quickly realized that they were not alone in their house. An unidentified visitor had decided to take up residence in their Missoula house early in the morning.

To their surprise, the uninvited guest turned out to be none other than a bear.

Not wanting to take any chances, the homeowners decided to call the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office. However, this bear seemed to have no intention of ending his nap any time soon.

“When deputies knocked on the window, the bear was not the least bit impressed. He slowly stretched, yawned and, unamused, looked toward the door. Eventually, deputies were able to unlock the door in hopes he would hop down and leave,” the sheriff’s office wrote on their Facebook page.

According to the Sheriff Office’s post, the bear was uncooperative and apparently not interested in leaving his perfect bed. In the end, officers were forced to contact the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks authorities to assist in relocating the sleepy, uncooperative bear.

Thankfully, officers were able to snap some photos of the bear before he was taken out of the home.

“Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks showed up to assist and tranquilized the bear so he could be relocated,” the sheriff’s office went on in their post. “The homeowners were glad he was removed in good health, but won’t soon forget when this intruder came looking for the bear necessities!”

The bear was removed from the homeowner’s residence after being safely tranquilized by wildlife authorities, catching up on all the sleep he needed.

After this close encounter, Missoula County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone to lock up their doors to keep bears out. If you encounter a bear in your house, always be sure to contact authorities and do not touch the bear yourself. Despite their cute and cuddly appearance, bears are still wild animals who really should be taking their naps out in the forest, not in someone’s closet.

Hopefully this bear finds his ‘just right’ napping spot out in the wilderness. not someone’s house.
