One rollerskater decided to wow the crowd with an incredible performance set to Whitney Houston’s, “I Will Always Love You.”

It’s a beautiful song on its own, made even more beautiful by Luna Casaretto’s routine.

Now, rollerskating has been around for quite a while.

It was invented back in 1735 by a Belgian guy named John Joseph Merlin. He famously introduced his new invention at a party in London, where he ended up crashing into a mirror.

Rollerskates went through many alterations after that but fell out of popularity until the 1900s.

There was a resurgence to the fad when waitresses started rollerskating food out to parked cars at restaurants.

This sparked the disco skating era of the ’70s and ’80s.

By the time the ’90s rolled around, inline skates essentially replaced the quad-wheel setup of the rollerskates.

However, in recent years, rollerskating has come back into favor and some people have taken rollerskating skills to the next level.

One of those people is Luna Cassareto.

When she skated out onto the floor to perform her routine, there was no doubt that she knew what she was doing. She casually throws her arms up into the air skates to center stage on one foot.

She gets down onto the floor and waits for the song to come in over the speakers.

When it does, Luna gets up by bending her legs over her back and head before popping up onto her feet.

Most people can’t get up that way even without wearing rollerskates.

She then begins gliding around the arena, making every movement look smooth and easy.

If you didn’t know any better, you’d say that she was skating around on ice.

She makes a few laps before heading into her first big move. She gains a bit of speed, bends her knees, and then launches herself into the air.

Luna spins around a few times before landing gracefully back onto one foot.

The crowd loves it and immediately erupts into a loud roar.

Luna skates around the arena a few more times as she prepares for her big one-legged spin.

She times this up perfectly with the song. As she gets ready to perform her big move, Whitney Houston stops singing.

It’s that famous part of the song where it goes silent for a few seconds before Whitney comes back with the loud and powerful chorus.

Luna gets momentum and starts her move in the silence of the arena, then Whitney’s voice comes in with the music and Luna gets her body moving fast in a perfect circle.

The crowd erupts again, letting her know how impressive the move was.

Luna finishes off her routine with a few more jumps and spins before ending it in the center of the arena where she started it.
