It’s not every day that you are able to turn a challenging song into a masterpiece.

You don’t need a grand studio or an expensive set of costumes to be able to make an awesome choreography. All you need is passion and the love for what you are doing. Before we go ahead and look at this amazing dance by Aidan Carberry and Erica Klein, let’s first understand where their inspiration came from.

Bellyache

Who doesn’t know Billie Eilish? If you are a fan, then you know about her hit song “Bellyache.” If you’re not, then it’s time for you to search and listen to it now.

[“Bellyache” is] flat-out a song about murder. We have a bunch of songs like that: crazy stories about these fictional [situations]. We like to write about stuff we’re going through and things that people relate to, but it’s also really fun to put on a character and act a certain way,” said Billie Eilish to her LadyGunn interview.

The song is challenging because of the meaning of the song as well as the music. It’s not easy to create a dance that will both capture the meaning of the song as well as give justice to the beautiful composition.

Erica Klein and Aidan Carberry were able to pull this off. Well, if you are familiar with these 2, then you’ll know why they were able to create such beautiful choreography.

Erica Klein

Erica isn’t new to the business of dance. In fact, she is known for her feature role in Elliot Moss’ music video “Without the Lights”. This video went viral with more than 50 million views worldwide!

Aidan Carberry

Aidan is an actor and a dancer who was able to train at the International Dance Academy and also to the The Edge & Millennium. Aside from these achievements, Aidan was also a dance major at USC Kaufman. Like Erica, they both have many videos that went viral.

The viral choreography

The video starts with a simple garage set up. No fancy props, no extravagant designs. You’d see that they would start off just sitting in the said garage and from there; they start to show their slickest moves.

The song Bellyache (Marian Hill Remix) starts off slow but then transitions to something powerful, perfect for this passionate duo.

Slowly, they jive together, complementing each one’s moves. We love the timing of this duo. Fluid movements that is always on timing, perfect transitions, and we love how they balance each other.

The video has almost 2 million views and more than 800 comments. Most of the comments are all about commending the great choreography and the duo who danced passionately.
