Have you ever looked forward to a certain piece of food that you’ve been hiding away in the fridge or cabinet, only to go and retrieve it and find that it has been eaten by someone else?

There is truly nothing more heartbreaking than that very moment… Food lovers everywhere can most certainly agree.

Sometimes, if you are in college or growing up in a big family with many siblings, it can be looked at as a common occurrence. But other times, the crime is done by someone who was thought to be trusted — and then the whole world turns upside down. That is frowned upon.

One man by the name Dave Williams unfortunately discovered that his partner, whom he’d spent years with, had been swiping his chocolate. It’s his fianceé Stacey Lowe who has been enjoying his secret stash.

Of course, Dave wanted no more of this, so he did what any chocolate-loving man would do and installed an actual safe in the fridge to keep Stacey from getting her hands on anything moving forward.

Drastic changes clearly needed to be made in this household. If it meant Dave having to refrigerate his chocolate, then he was at a point where he would have made the sacrifice.

Upon finding the safe, Stacey took to Facebook to share photos — along with her ultimate rage. She went as far as to dub it “break up material.”

“So this is what it has come too! You buy a house together, have a child together, get engaged, are planning a wedding and doing your house up and this happens! Dave goes and buys a fuckin fridge safe because he’s an arsehole and doesn’t want to share his chocolate with me anymore! Anyone want him? Surely this is breakup material right?! Prick!”

Safe to say, Stacey is mad (ha, see what we did there?).

The wife-to-be went on to post an update with a link to where he got the safe and also added that she might “invest in one for myself” because “2 can play that game.”

It is without a doubt even more cruel that the safe is see-through, therefore showing Stacey exactly what she is missing out on at all times. A ton of good treats — one of them being a big box of Oreos — are clearly there in plain sight. The saying, “So close, yet so far,” has never felt more relatable!

Luckily for Stacey, Dave did go ahead and leave some other good things out for taking. Like lamb shank, a yogurt (or vanilla pudding?), cheese, and water… Okay Stacey, maybe it actually might be best for you to head to the nearest grocery store and get a bunch of your own special little treats. ASAP. Then, maybe it can become a game of who has the better treats! Because splitting up the treats after forming a legal bond? Nonsense!

Sure, the two can share a home, a marriage… Hell, even a child. But candy? Absolutely not. Thank you, next.
