Maid of honor crashes sister’s wedding dressed as a T-Rex
She DID tell her maid of honor she could wear whatever she wanted. 🤷

Everyone dreams of having the perfect wedding, going off without a hitch. No mishaps, no missing photographer, and definitely no interruptions during the ceremony. We want the dress to fit flaw, the flowers to be arranged perfectly, and the ring bearer to make down the aisle without throwing a tantrum.

Of course, all of these things we’ve mentioned are normal wedding “things.” But a T-Rex crashing your wedding? I think we can categorize that one under “not normal.”

As much as we don’t want to admit, there are certain things that are just completely out of our control. And one of those things? Is other people’s actions. As one bride hilariously found out during one of the most important moments of her life. The culprit? None other than her sister.

Christina A. Meador was an excited maid of honor and couldn’t wait to be a part of her sister’s big day.

Apparently, in addition to being asked to be the maid of honor for the big day, Christina’s sister, Deanna Adams, told her that she could pick whichever outfit she’d like. And, we’re guessing that either the bride didn’t know her sister very well, she was hoping she’d behave, or she expected something outrageous. Either way – we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome.

Deanna, the bride, was probably thinking it was just one last thing she had to worry about that day. However, Christina decided to use this as an opportunity to make this day go down in history. What better way than a harmless (and hilarious!) prank?

As the wedding party began to walk down the aisle, Christina’s “outfit” was revealed – a giant, inflatable t-rex costume.

Of course, after the celebration was over, Christina had to post the hilarious photos and video online for the world to see. It would be selfish of her not to! And to nobody’s surprise at all, it quickly went viral. Just a month after they were posted, the photos were shared over 38,000 times and the video has been viewed over 112,000 times.

You have to see Christina the T-Rex in action as she walks…or waddles?…down the aisle in the video below.

And this isn’t the first (or second!) time a T-Rex has made an appearance at people’s weddings.

Back in 2017, a bride pulled a similar hilarious prank on her husband during their “first look” wedding photoshoot. Normally, a couple’s ‘first look’ is when they reveal what they look like all dolled up for the first time. However, when Elizabeth Gardner’s husband turned around – he saw a very similar T-Rex costume that Christina wore!

Needless to say, her husband thought it was hysterical and so did we! Plus, the photos are just adorable.

Then, also back in 2017, a Vancouver couple, Vincent Rivano and Ashley Coleman decided they would surprise their guests with a special “first dance.” Both of them walked onto the dance floor with T-Rex costumes!

It looks like a couple that T-Rex’s together stays together? Or…if a T-Rex appears at your wedding then it’s good luck? We’re not really sure but we do know one thing – we want more T-Rex’s making appearances at public events and special occasions.

What was your favorite T-Rex wedding appearance? It’s so hard to choose! Let us know on Facebook!
