Dogs have such a wide range of emotions and sometimes it’s pretty incredible to witness.
While it’s true that we can’t exactly understand their barks, they are often so expressive with their body language and actions that it doesn’t really matter. Humans and dogs have lived alongside each other for so long that often all it takes is a little observation to know exactly what a pup is thinking.
That is how one man felt about his two pet Great Danes. The man decided to give the white and black spotted Dane named Roro a back rub.
The other Great Dane gets so jealous! He throws a super adorable little fit and it’s hilarious to watch.
It’s just so over the top.
The big baby can’t stand to watch his brother get all the attention.
“Physically a huge dane, mentally a puppy,” one YouTube user joked.
The Dane lets out a huge roar and then collapses back into the couch as if to say “hey, don’t forget me!”
It’s one of the funniest animal tantrums we’ve ever seen.
“It’s Roro’s turn to get lovies,” the man says to the dog.
The jealous pup then decides he’s going to take matters into his own hands.
He starts licking his owner’s face in an attempt to steal away the attention from his brother.
However, the man is well versed in fending off the Dane’s advances.
“You let Roro have a turn. Get up back on that couch,” he says.
This isn’t the man’s first rodeo and he knows all about the silly games the pups play when attempting to gain the spotlight.
Every pet always wants to be the favorite pet, and they can’t stand when the focus is on another animal other than them.
The Dane does as he is told and retreats back to the couch, but he can’t help but express his displeasure with the situation.
He lets off another hilarious grumble in protest, then turns away from the man facing the other direction.
No matter what the Great Dane does, he’s not getting the attention, so decides to withdraw his own attention in retaliation. “Two can play at that game,” the jealous pup thinks.
The woman taking the video joked at how the Dane is now ignoring the man and he laughed at the comment.
“It’s okay for me to love Roro,” he says to the upset dog. “It’s your brother.”
That gets the Great Dane very worked up. He grumbles back louder than ever, but in a friendly loving way, of course.
At the end of the day, they are all one big happy family, and hopefully, the big baby will eventually learn to wait his turn. There is enough attention to go around for everyone, and if he just waits patiently, we’re sure he will get a nice massage too.
It’s amazing how a dog can say so much with just body language and grumbles.
Although humans and canines don’t speak the same language, that certainly has never stopped the two species from communicating. Pups have developed some very cute ways over the years to get their points across, and we have to say, they work pretty well!
