Well, we didn't expect THAT.

When Instagram model Paige Woolen began to notice more and more men with girlfriends crowding up her Inbox, she decided to take some action.

The men would message her being flirtatious and crude- at a total disrespect to their unsuspecting girlfriends. So now, it was time to get some payback.

“I had been noticing a lot of guys that DM me on my personal account had profile photos with their girlfriends,”Paige said. “It got me wondering if their girlfriends know or care that they DM random girls with photos in their bikinis. I personally believe snitches get stitches but I felt like using the power of @dudesinthedm for good and helping out my female followers.”

The 28-year-old model is known for posting racy snaps in her underwear with her 239k Instagram followers, so she was used to getting attention from men.

But one thing that didn’t sit right with her was the hundreds of men who crowded her DMs that were in relationships.

The Los Angeles based model decided to hatch a plan to catch these boys out once and for all, in the ultimate test of their honesty and loyalty.

“I posted a story about DMing their boyfriends from my main account to see if they would cop to having a girlfriend or not,” she explained. “Surprisingly, most of them either didn’t answer or if they did, they said something mean or informed me they had a girlfriend. Only a few lied and said they were single.”

The results were certainly interesting, and while most of the men were honest (if a little rude), there were some who just couldn’t resist Paige’s advances.

In one exchange of messages, Paige wrote: “Just thought you were so so cute. Was hoping to meet up if you’re single of course.”

The boy didn’t seem to have a single care for his girlfriend, as he replied, “I’m single enough, do you have Snapchat?”

Another man was pretty *ahem* complimentary, and in reply to Paige’s message of, “You’re super cute,” he responded with: “Me? You’re like a supermodel!”

Although the guy has pictures of himself and his girlfriend up on his Instagram, he quickly denied that he was seeing anybody, and proposed that the pair should meet up in LA.

Bizzarely, another man confessed that he wasn’t single, however then messaged telling Paige that his girlfriend is “into some freaky s***” and “we could all have fun”.

Well, whatever floats your boat.

What’s almost as bad as the men who denied they had girlfriends, were the men who were straight up rude to Paige. The model was called a “prostitute” and was told that they “don’t want to sign up to your OnlyFans account”- despite her never mentioning anything about the site.

Paige also later revealed that she had been sent a huge number of death threats after her little experiment. Unsurprisingly, these were mostly from men who didn’t believe in being ‘outed’ by the model.

Paige’s experiment certainly got people talking, and she’s already gained around 25k more followers since she made the news. You can check out her Instagram account here.
