When humans love dogs, they really love dogs. And their dogs love them back.

This is exactly why people adopt dogs because they want to feel unconditional love from another living being. But do dogs really love their humans?

“Of course dogs love their people!” animal behavior consultant Amy Shojai told Inverse. “The hormone oxytocin is released (in both dogs and people) when they interact/have contact with someone they like. This ‘love hormone’ helps cement and increase the bond we share … it’s also the hormone that floods the system of new moms to amp up attachment to new babies.”

And dogs are so intuitive that even just their human’s scent makes them super happy.

A study published in Behavioral Processes observed how dogs reacted to different smells, their humans’ scent versus familiar dogs, unfamiliar dogs, and unfamiliar people. When they smelled their human’s scent, it activated a reward center in their brain called the caudate nucleus, that did not happen with the other scents.

Millie is a Siberian husky, who lives in Manchester, United Kingdom with her family. And she loves to love and be loved.

You can definitely see it in this video.

Her dad, Aaron Walman, is watching a program on the TV with Millie and her husky brother, Rupert, in the living room. She sits beside her dad on the couch where she can get easy access to some loving.

She doesn’t want to just sit on the couch for easy access though.

She wants constant loving from her dad. Whenever he turns his attention back to the TV, she’d tap him on the shoulder. Aaron would then turn around and stroke her on her chest and give her a long kiss.

And even though her dad would turn his eyes back to the TV, he’d keep stroking Millie’s chest.

And Millie loves it so much that she lays her head on his lap.

This is not the only reason people love Millie and Rupert. In fact, Joy Ride Harness has listed ten reasons why they love Millie and Rupert, along with so many people.

Millie and Rupert work hard for the attention they seek. In fact, they own their humans. They cannot stop and they will always demand to be pampered and loved, as you can see in the video below.

They know how to have fun!

They have two little human brothers and they love playing with the boys as much as possible.

They’re the perfect big brother and sister because they know how to take care of their human brothers. And that also includes teaching them to give them treats when their parents aren’t watching.

And they’re the sweetest.

They may be demanding, with their constant need for affection. But they’re also quick to give affection every time, especially when she kisses his dad back in this video.

And people are loving this display of affection between Millie and her dad.

“If I had a dog like that I probably would keep him in my arms 24/7,” Celine Foster shared.

“‘Excuse me human I didn’t say stop!’ I am Unicron made up what Millie would have said if she could talk human.

“That husky trained his Hooman well,” Black Shadow added.
