A family in Lake City, Florida took all those factors into consideration when they transformed an old grain silo into a beautiful tiny home.
The property was previously used for storing agricultural materials like grain. With a bit of creativity, hard work, and love for tiny homes, they were able to turn every inch of the silo into a cozy and comfortable living space. The process wasn’t easy but result made the everything worth it.

Unlike most tiny houses, this one has a full kitchen. It’s big enough to hold a retro fridge and freezer. It also features a beautiful farm sink.
To save space, the kitchen was fitted with plenty of open shelves and cabinets. It also has a sliding barn door to complete its farm vibe.

There’s enough space for preparing and cooking food for the entire family. One can even invite a few friends there. The stone floor was a brilliant addition to the design, too.
The bathroom feels luxurious.
The bathroom might look different from what normal sized homes have but it’s definitely cozy. The combination of wood and corrugated metal is just brilliant. It certainly creates an authentic feel.
The living area was breathtaking.
With its circular shape and metal ceiling, it’s certainly not your average living area. It has a one-of-a-kind design.
Plus, it gives you the best seat in the house.
The circular living room is perfect for enjoying the beautiful view outdoors. No matter where you’re facing, you’ll be able to enjoy the peaceful and breathtaking scene outside.
The area is also perfect for entertaining guests.
There’s a lot of space so there’s no need to worry about family and friends getting uncomfortable. If the space in the living area isn’t enough, they could step out and enjoy the deck. There, you can hang out and enjoy the view during the day and watch the stars at night.
The property isn’t small.
While the silo isn’t that big, the land that goes with it is a different story. It’s actually a 25-acre property with 30 riding trails and 7,000 feet of “no-climb” horse fence. It’s the best property to buy for people who value privacy without compromising comfort and freedom to move around.
