We share some of the most magical, adorable, and hilarious moments with babies.
Whether they are our own, in our families, our friends, or even sometimes complete strangers babies have a special way of doing some of the strangest and most adorable things sometimes. It is especially magical since they are just learning things for the first time ever so each new experience with the environment that surrounds teaches them how to behave.
Each new experience leads them to discover a new emotion, a new way of being, and even sometimes a new trick!

For one mother and her friend, they captured their 3-month-old baby who was pretending to be asleep!
He keeps his eyes half-closed thinking they wouldn’t see him peeking. But every time they start talking to him letting him know they know he’s awake he releases the biggest smile and giggles! As this super cute video begins we see the baby looking absolutely adorable in what looks to be like he is asleep.

It seems as though this has been going on for a few moments before they picked up the camera because just as the mother mentions to her friend that she actually thinks he fell asleep is when the jokester begins to crack another smile!

But just as quickly as he cracks the smile is as quickly as he goes back to closing his eyes pretending to be asleep or maybe waiting to fall into his deep sleep.

But his mother isn’t done poking fun at his antics of fake sleeping. She whispers gently to him that she knows he’s not actually sleeping and that he’s a little faker! As soon as he hears this he begins to giggle again. What a little goofball!

His mother then reveals to him how she knows he is faking when she says to him,
“Dominque I know you’re not sleeping I see the crack of your eyes open!”
She points to his little eyes and bops his tiny nose which makes him crack his toothless smile again acknowledging the truth.

The camera moves up a little and we start to get a glance at what his mother is referring too.

She continues to mess around with the little jokester and reminding him that she can see his eyes still. She bops his nose again and they both laugh more.

Once the camera moves in closer we can see that the baby is getting more and more sleepy. But we can also see that he is still peeking the tiniest bit.

So his mom says to him one more time,
“You’re peeking at me! I see you peeking at me over here and right there.”
She gently touches his eyes and nose again leading him to release one last tiny smile.

After they share all those sleepy giggles back and forth this silly baby finally falls into a deep sleep. Both the mom and the friend agree he is truly sleeping when he doesn’t respond with even the slightest smile.

At only 3-months-old this tiny baby has learned the trick of fake sleeping which led to sharing a tender but funny moment with his mom and her friend. Now they’ll be able to look back at this adorable video for years to come and giggle with each other once more just like they did when this was originally filmed.
