Two adorable forces were combined this week to create one of the cutest photos of all time. And from the looks the smiles on their faces, it’s no wonder why these two were chosen to represent the Gerber brand as Gerber babies.

A photo of a meeting between the very first and the most recent Gerber baby went viral this week.

Ann Turner Cook, a former teacher and author, was the very first Gerber baby and the original face of Gerber products. The 91-year-old was chosen as the model for the brand’s iconic black-and-white sketched portrait in 1928.

She was chosen after her family submitted a charcol drawing of her to the company. Her portrait became Gerber’s official trademark in 1931 and it’s still their trademark today.

One-year-old Lucas Warren is Gerber’s current “spokesbaby.”

He made history in February after he was chosen as the first Gerber spokesbaby with Down Syndrome. He beat out about 140,000 babies for his new role.

According to CNN, Lucas and his parents were on a family vacation in Florida and decided they would pay Cook a visit.

Gerber helped to arrange their meeting.

Apparently, the two hit it off right away. The two posed for a photo with Lucas sitting in Cook’s lap.

“As soon as we walked into the room, she and Lucas immediately bonded,” Lucas’ parents, Jason and Cortney, told PEOPLE. “Lucas walked right up to her, flashing his signature smile and waving, and we could tell he loved her right away.”

Cook’s grandson, Chris Colin, posted the picture on Twitter where it went viral.

“She just loves babies,” Colin told PEOPLE. “She thinks of herself as sort of the face of babies. And because of this funny thing that happened, she gets to meet all these really wonderfully cute little babies in life.”

Lucas seemed to be just as fond of Cook as she was of him.

“He even grabbed two cookies and offered her one, which she accepted,” Lucas’ parents said. “Ann Turner Cook is truly a wonderful woman and pleasure to be around, and we couldn’t be more grateful that she took the time to meet with our family.”

Colin’s Tweet got more than 69,000 likes.

“My grandmother was the Gerber baby. It was a funny bit of trivia, never made her rich or got us free strained peas or anything. But last week she got to meet the company’s newest spokesbaby, named Lucas. Pretty pretttty cute,” his Tweet read.

Colin says Cook has always been proud to be a Gerber baby.

“My grandmother has always said that there’s something about the Gerber baby that cuts across all kinds of people,” Colin said. “We all feel so divided sometimes, but the positive response that came from all kinds of people… that is one of the things that’s touching for me.”
