Candy is awesome and we live in a world where there’s a lot of it. But everyone has their own personal tastes and favorite candy.
We usually buy our own personal favorite candy to give out on Halloween.
Apparently, so does each state. And we have that list for you. So, whatever you do, don’t go trick-or-treating in Connecticut or New Hampshire.
Here is each state’s favorite Halloween candy.
Alabama apparently likes things unexplainably juicy in their neck of the woods because their favorite candy is Starburst.
Honestly, this one is a shock. I didn’t think anyone actually liked Smarties but turns out that they do in Alaska!
Arizona picked a good one. They’re big on Mr. Goodbar down there.
They like to “Taste the Rainbow” in Arkansas where their favorite candy is Skittles.
Californians are simple. When it comes to their favorite candy, they favor a plain old Nestle Crunch Bar.
Colorado has a fun favorite candy. They’re into Airheads.
Connecticut’s favorite candy is that weirdly wrapped candy you get on Halloween but don’t eat. They’re called Peanut Butter Kisses.
Delaware likes their candy fruity and chewy. They love Twizzlers.
Florida and Colorado have something in common. They both love Airheads.
Georgia and Alabama are also twinsies when it comes to their candy preference. They’re into Starburst candy.
Give Hawaii a break, and break them off a piece of a KitKat bar.
Idaho is a Milk Duds state.
Illinois is also a fan of the Kit Kat.
They’re a bunch of suckers in Indiana. They love them some Dum Dums lollipops.
We got another Starburst state here.
Folk in Kansas enjoy the original malted milk balls known as Whoppers.
They like their candy bars thin in Kentucky. That’s why they like Heath Bars.
They’re hard-working in Louisiana, that’s why they value a good PayDay.
I don’t know what’s going on in Maine, but their favorite candy is licorice.
People in Maryland must like to get their tongues cut up because their favorite candy is Blow Pops.
Massachusetts values fresh breath so their favorite candy is Junior Mints.
Michigan and Massachusetts share the same favorite candy, Junior Mints.
Minnesota didn’t come to play when it comes to picking a candy. They’ve claimed Snickers.
Mississippi also loves their peanut confections so they’re fans of PayDay.
Missouri likes their candy tiny and coated. They eat lots of Nerds in Missouri.
Montana also likes to get fruity with their favorite candy, Airheads.
Nebraska are also Twizzlers fans.
Nevada is also big into break taking. KitKat… they love KitKat candy.
New Hampshire likes those marshmallow Circus Peanuts.
New Jersey also kicks its old school with Crunch bars.
New Mexico likes their candy spicy, so they eat a lot of Hot Tamales.
New York has traditional tastes and likes a good Crunch bar.
The same goes for North Carolina.
We have another state that’s a fan of Starburst.
We have another lollipop lovin’ state. Ohio likes their Blow Pops.
Oklahoma is pretty unique when it comes to their favorite candy. They like Runts.
Oregon loves their Reese’s Pieces.
Pennsylvanias are another state of Twizzlers lovers.
What do Rhode Island and Sloth from
The Goonies have in common? They both love Baby Ruth.
Starburst must be killing it these days because it’s South Carolina’s favorite candy too.
South Dakotans are chocolate people and like Milky Way candy bars.
Tennessee loves their Blow Pop suckers.
Yet, another Starburst state.
Utah’s favorite candy is a 3 Musketeers bar.
Vermont prefers the Tootsie Pop over the roll.
Virginia likes their candy to have a kick. They favor Sour Patch Kids.
Another KitKat state here.
West Virginia likes their candy small and chocolately. They love Tootsie Rolls.

The folks in Wyoming are simple when it comes to candy and like Hershey Kisses
