These tattoos were mimicked from an actual piece of embroidery. It looks like the piece were cut out and slapped on their backs. I can’t even imagine how long these pieces took to complete.

This birdie looks like it was made with a needle and thread. But it wasn’t. It was made with a needle and ink.
3) Sewn Skin
This looks some someone actually sewed into this person’s skin. I love the blunt looking black stitch marks in his wing. Well, needle marks… I keep forgetting that they are needle marks.
4) A Rose Is A Rose
This depiction of a rose is simply beautiful. They took a simple design and made it stunning. The line work has to be so precise to get the right look of even stitching.
5) The Cross Stitch
Here we have a tattoo that is mimicking the cross stitch. It involves making little x’s with stitches to create a larger picture. I like how this one uses the embroidery technique then moves into a traditional looking tattoo.
