He is the man with that unmistakably sweet syrupy voice responsible for hits like “Thinking out loud”, “Perfect”, “Shape of you”, and many more. Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England to parents who worked as curators, this young man was a natural with music.

Ed Sheeran began recording music in 2004 and early on was already labeled a natural.

His soothing acoustic style is iconic and you only need to hear his voice to know it’s him.

Ed is one of the world’s best-selling artists with more than 150 million records sold.

He has that magic touch and when you hear Ed play the guitar, you know it’s him.

Ed performed at the Elvis All-Start Tribute and his rendition of “Can’t help falling in love” has got fans actually falling in love with Mr. Sheeran even more. Elvis would have been proud.

Giving the Elvis classic a dash of his own style, Ed once again proceeds to show the world why he is one of the best musicians out there. His seamless plucking of the strings coupled with his voice is heaven to the ears.

Ed favors Martin guitars and has his own signature line with them.

The sounds are rich and full. A perfect blend of smooth folk and modern acoustic playing that is very much an Ed Sheeran signature.

Ed is actually quite the opposite of the flamboyant Elvis Presley. He just stands there looking very laid back, singing and smiling as compared to the “King of rock n roll.”

And it seems like this song suits Ed’s style.

The choir sounds great too. They complement his singing with gentle hums and secondary vocals even swaying along to the melody. Ed just stands there as if in a trance, completely focused as he croons the classic hit.

The performance is hauntingly beautiful.

“Like a river flows surely to the sea. Darling so it goes, some things are meant to be.”

Well Ed was meant to do this song. It is hard to imagine another artist doing this classic hit justice.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better.

It is a monumental task to revive and perform a classic hit from a legendary artist. Most have attempted it and failed. Some have had mediocre success.

But Ed Sheeran has the Midas touch. And fans love him for it.
