Musical talent isn’t limited to a certain age, as proven by this adorable baby boy when he sings with dad.
While he can’t communicate through words yet, he makes sure to express himself through music by ‘singing’ with his father.
Warning: Prepare yourself for cuteness overload.
Singing Duo
As can be seen in a video that is going absolutely viral, Patrick really appreciates his dad’s music. He even tries his best to sing with him even though he doesn’t know the lyrics to the song or even seem to understand it.
And so, he makes some lyrics of his own.
The video begins with a distracted Patrick who doesn’t seem to be too keen on being on camera, but all that changes when his dad starts strumming his guitar.
It’s pretty clear this blue-eyed boy is made to be in the spotlight. He definitely doesn’t let age or the language barrier keep him away from singing; even it’s just a made up song for his dad.
Soon, Patrick is singing the lead with his dad filling in once in a while with well-timed
“Oh yeah..’”
and saying,
“Sing it, brother… sing a song, about yourself!”.

Father-daughter duo
Seeing Patrick and his dad’s video, we can’t help but be reminded of another parent-child singing duo in actor Dan Fowlks and his daughter Nova Lin.
In a video posted on Facebook, we are treated to a heartwarming moment between father and daughter with Fowlks singing and playing the ukulele to his baby daughter who animatedly shows her appreciation.
Fowlks, an actor, model and musician from St. George, Utah captured the hearts of many people when he posted a video of him playing music for his daughter with a ukulele.
He sang her an ‘oldie’ called “Dream Lover” by Bobby Darin.
His efforts were met with delighted giggles and dancing from his daughter who clearly adores him. She even tried dancing and trying to stand on her bed as she listened to her dad’s singing.
And at one point, Fowlks even had to put his knee on the mattress to prevent her from falling off the bed.
We don’t know about you, but that’s one dad we admire!
Young singers and musicians
If Patrick and Nova Lin keep their musical interest up, they might give three-year-old Garrett Spence some competition.
You might remember Garrett from that viral video of him belting his heart out while singing the national anthem at a football game in Boston.
They might even come together with viral two-year-old drummer boy Leonard Lennox Noble from Cincinnati and form a band together someday!
You might also remember Leonard from a video of the talented young boy freestyle drumming to his mother’s singing.
