Randy knew that if he wanted to get the point across about bullying that he had to get to Re’Onna where it was going to matter the most

Randy determined that the victim of the bullying needed something good like this more than what Re’ Onna did.

How Did Re’Onna Feel?

At first, she was a little mad. Then after everything transpired, she was glad because Ryan, the bullying victim, really did need some help.

When Ryan was asked how it felt to be bullied, she had trouble getting the words out, but she said she felt really sad. Ryan had recently lost her grandfather, her father, and her aunt and was dealing with this, and the bullying just added to her depression.

When Ryan’s mom found out she was being bullied, she reached out to Re’Onna’s parents. She didn’t know what to expect. But, she was not expecting how Randy handled the situation. Mom said she was always used to parents being passive about aggressive.

Mom’s Appreciation and Compassion

Ryan’s mom was very appreciative of Randy’s approach and was also sorry that Re’Onna had to have this experience.

When she first discovered that Randy was going to take her shopping, she began to cry.

Re’Onna Also Went On the Shopping Trip

Re-Onna didn’t just get to sit home. Randy made sure she tagged along on the shopping excursion as a witness.

What Did Re’Onna Learn From This?

A painful lesson for Re’Onna no doubt, but she says she learned not to bully because she realizes that not everyone is as fortunate as her.

During the shopping spree, Re’Onna and Ryan laughed a lot and got to know each other.

What Randy hopes other parents will realize is that as parents, they have to take responsibility for what their children do.

Randy’s Message

What Randy hopes other parents will realize is that as parents, they have to take responsibility for what their children do.

Be The Parent And Not The Friend

Randy believes that when situations arise like this that parents need to take action and not take on the role of being a friend.

Not Where You Started But Where You Finish

What Re’ Onna has also learned is that it doesn’t matter where you start, but where you finish. In other words, bullying was wrong and she should not have done it, but she has learned from her mistakes. Thanks to the lesson that Dad has taught her.

Both parents have set a good example. Ryan’s mom and Randy communicated and solved a serious problem.
