They totally nailed it.

Ask people what their favorite type of music is, or to list their top five genres, and it would be safe to assume that only a few would have country music on the list. Funny when you think about it as country music and its lifestyle has influences all over the globe. Even the very music you listen to has a bit of country blood and it. And don’t get me started on films and television shows.

Lots of nations have embraced the cowboy look and lifestyle too, having their own shows and competitions seemingly wanting to be a part of that life.

Sao Paolo, Brazil? You bet!

Check this out. Three awesome dancers on a Brazilian ranch are about to show you that yes, they can and they will move like cowboys. The trio of dancers is headed by dancer, choreographer, and a true to heart cowgirl by the name of Thays Monaro.

She’s got lots of videos on being a cowgirl, country dances, tutorials and lessons, and what it means to be a country girl.

So Thays and two good looking cowboys tip their hats and kick their boots up to show the world that Brazil can be country. So to the left is Drama Lendario, to the right is Warlei Oliveria, and together they’re ready to give a country dance for the ages. And if you think you’ve seen country dancing before, then you clearly haven’t heard of these guys. And girl.

The song? Redneck Woman. Originally performed by Gretchen Wilson, this is a classic country tune that celebrates what it means to be a country girl. It is definitely Thays!

The version here is by Jill Johnson and make no mistake about it, it is still very country. You wouldn’t even think they were from Brazil once you watch them move. To be honest, they may even dance better than some Americans. That’s saying something.

Now let’s be honest. There’s something different with a woman’s choreography. Thays’ is no exception. It’s so much fun to watch. There is precision, and yet it all looks so smooth and effortless that you’d want to join them.

Don’t be fooled though. They have the look down too!

Cowboy hats, button downs, jeans, boots, and that swag to really look the part.

The dance floor is outside a ranch style bar and restaurant with lots of space for that extra country feel. It really looks the part of what they’re going for and along with some video editing skills, it is such a fun performance to watch. There is so much energy with all the jumping and spinning. Those huge smiles don’t lie. They are having a lot of fun.

All three are talented and Thays’ incredible choreography allows each of them to strut their stuff for the camera.

Not for ones with asthma or any respiratory problems this one. These three have the lungs and the heart for the country and it shows. Even just watching it will make you want to catch your breathe for every time they spin.

That’s left, right, left again, and right again. Unreal skills all the way from Brazil.
