False eyelashes can be such a hassle, am I right?

Finding a pair that looks good, but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg feels like an endless battle.

Then, once you’ve found a pair you like, then you have to struggle getting them on.

Fake eyelashes can be as cheap as $1 for a set but can cost up to $40, depending on the brand.

E.l.f. lashes only cost $2, but many makeup and beauty lovers feel that cheaper lashes look less realistic. Mink lashes, like HUDA and Lilly Lashes look more natural, but those lashes can cost between $20 – $30.

One makeup artist has a hack that can make cheaper lashes look high-end.

Paloma Garcia shared a video on Facebook that has since gone viral of her hack.

“Here is for those who asked me for a video. I do it like this. I only use a tough brush from left to right until achieving the effect of Mink-Type Ruffled eyelashes”

The hack can make $1, $2, or other cheap lashes look incredible! And it only costs the price of the lashes and/or a spoolie brush. These brushes (which can be used for lashes and eyebrows) can cost less than $1 or up to $3 at reasonably priced makeup brands.

Using the spoolie brush, Paloma is able to fluff up the fake false lashes and give them a wispy look.

In the video, she is able to transform the cheap lashes that she bought into ones that look much more expensive than their price tag would suggest!

Understandably so, people are freaking out about this hack! Paloma inspired other beauty lovers, like Promise Tamang, to try the hack at home and they shared their success online as well.

The recreation video from Promise has over 2 million views on Instagram and over 2,000 comments.

Many users are tagging their friends and telling them that they “need to try this hack.” It looks so easy to do I was tempted to go buy some $1 lashes and try it myself!

One Instagram user was impressed with how intact the lash strip was at the end of the hack, @stephluc91 wrote:

“that strip is fine I like how fluffy they got when she brushed them”

Another user commented on the video after it was shared on Twitter:

“Kiss is literally my go to lashes but I guess the point of the video was just to show that you can make good use of these, not necessarily that they need to be buying these lashes instead bc they’re cheap. At least ik thats why I was personally shook”

This hack looks like it is meant to be done on brand new lashes and not used lashes, as the new lashes are still stuck perfectly in place. But if you try this hack on used lashes and get results, you should share it on Facebook and Twitter so everyone can see how they look!

If you need to see just how to perform this hack like an expert, you can watch Paloma’s video below. It is so easy, it takes less than 60 seconds to make these lashes look high-end!

Please SHARE this incredible hack with all of the beauty-loving friends and family in your life on Facebook today.
