Chances are, you found the most random thing inside another thing either by accident or simply because you are curious. Regardless, whatever you found is something you would be astonished to see especially when you never expected it to be inside a very ordinary thing. Here is a list of objects that people randomly found on their stuff:

1. A restaurant with a truck inside

Who needs a kitchen inside a restaurant when you can just park a whole taco truck in there?

It looks like someone expanded quickly into a brick-and-mortar location.

But is that all up to code?

2. Eggs laid inside an almond

No one wants to bite into something to find eggs inside.

We don’t know why someone took such a dainty bite of an almond, but they’re probably glad they did after this discovery!

3. A “paw print” inside a crayon

Ok, so it’s not a real paw print, but this kiddo was probably excited to see what looked like one inside her crayon.

That was probably the only good thing about breaking it.

4. Chinese sheet music inside a bookbinding

When the binding of a Redditor’s journal broke, they found that Chinese sheet music was used in the binding.

Some enterprising commenter found the song, called 哦满了伤痕的头 which can be heard here.

5. Neverending pith inside an orange

This orange was all pith! What a bummer.

We’d be pretty pithed off not to get any fruit.

6. A golfball inside a log

Speaking of things caught in trees, this was one hell of a golf shot if it managed to penetrate the stump to the point where the tree continued to grow up around it.

Someone was definitely doing too much strength training and not enough accuracy practice.

7. A car charger inside a USB charger

Not everything is as it seems. But the good news is that so many things can be reused and turned into other, more useful things.

Instead of heading for the landfill, this car adapter was made into a USB charger.

And as long as it works safely, who cares what it used to be?

8. A monk inside a Buddha sculpture

A CT scan of a 1,000-year-old Buddha sculpture revealed a huge surprise for archaeologists – a human body inside!

Scrolls at the bottom of the statue identified the monk inside as a man named Liuquan who may have practiced “self-mummification.”

The statue is currently being stored in an undisclosed location since two people are claiming it belongs to them.

9. A pig playing guitar inside a frog decoration

Another broken lawn ornament and another bizarre surprise inside.

This time the two-frogged ornament revealed a pig playing guitar inside.

We wonder what sound that frog made.

10. Broken pools balls inside a bocce ball

Someone broke a ball playing bocce (which takes some considerable strength) to reveal pool balls inside.

The stuff inside is called “regrind” and one commenter explained that “Regrind is any material that has been processed once and can include any material cleaned from the mold or any rejected parts.” It’s used to cut costs but when larger pieces are used it can increase stress at certain points and make objects like this more prone to cracking.

11. A bee inside a bottle of honey

Maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise to find a bee inside a bottle of honey, but we’d still be a little freaked out.

That poor guy didn’t get a very dignified send-off for all of his hard work.

12. Hands inside a bra

Hmm. We’re not sure we’d be into this.

Bra support is great, but this kind of seems like a guy’s idea.

13. Newsprint inside fried chicken

Yuck.

Someone found words inside of their fried chicken breading.

Keep the messages in the fortune cookies.

It looks like someone needs to inspect this kitchen!

14. A package of shaving cream inside a can of shaving cream

Do we really need the double packaging? Can’t at least part of this be easily recyclable?

We all need to work on what we demand of companies when it comes to manufacturing the packaging of their goods – this is just too much waste.

15. A beehive inside a tire

Nope.

That is very much the last thing we’d want to see if we were having trouble with our tires.

But now we know what the problem was!

16. A green pepper growing inside a red pepper

Red peppers are just riper green peppers, so the color difference between the two vegetables isn’t surprising.

We’re just impressed that the pepper inside managed to get so big.

How heavy do you think that red pepper was when it was purchased?

17. A buff pig inside a pig toy

This dog’s chubby pig toy had a fun surprise inside.

Once your dog gets enough exercise to finally tear it apart, there’s a buff pig waiting inside to show them just what getting their fitness on can do for your body!

18. Orange within an orange

We’re not sure why people are so fascinated by the relatively common “food within food” phenomenon, but we have to admit it makes for a fun photo.

In this case, there was an orange growing inside another orange – complete with its peel!

We have to admit we’d feel a little ripped off by the lack of edible fruit though.

19. Sprouting seeds inside an apple

When seeds begin to develop inside a fruit or vegetable before it detaches from the parent plant, it’s called vivipary.

That’s what’s going on with this apple that someone cut upon one morning.

And in addition to being pretty cool, the apple is still edible.

20. George W. Bush inside Frankenstein’s monster

Politics aside, it’s pretty funny to open up a stuffed toy to find another leftover toy inside – especially when that toy appears to be an ex-President.

But can we stop calling the monster Frankenstein? That was the name of the doctor who created him!

21. A book with a random chapter inside

This book was bound with a chapter from a completely different book inside.

Maybe it’s a two-for-one, but we’d be a bit annoyed if all of the pages from the book we were trying to read weren’t there.

22. Styrofoam inside a concrete table

Well, now we know why it broke.

But some Redditors insisted that many concrete tables have a lighter filling on the inside, otherwise they would be too heavy to move.

23. Bullets inside a log

When chopping wood, this person discovered the tree got caught in some crossfire a while back.

You can still see the bullet trails in the wood grain.

We just hope the tree was all they hit.

24. A heart inside Cookie Monster

Inside every monster lies a wounded heart.

The Cookie Monster toy that this dog-owner found at a garage sale had a cute plaid one.

That pup looks like it feels a little guilty for disembowling him now.

25. A grape inside a grape

This grape had another, smaller grape inside of it.

But the real mystery here is who eats their grapes in two bites?

26. A Bic lighter inside of a larger Bic lighter

We suppose it makes sense that Bic wouldn’t manufacture a whole new design to fuel their long-stemmed lighters.

That means inside each one lies just a regular old Bic.

That seems like an awful lot of plastic though.

27. A tiny orange inside of an orange

Ok, so we’ve already seen an orange inside an orange, but this one is just adorable!

We love the dedication of the person who peeled that tiny orange inside – just look at the teensy slice!

28. A sad cactus inside a happy cactus

It turns out this cactus was sad on the inside.

Or else someone had a great sense of humor and decided to troll some dog owners into feeling guilty for letting their dog tear apart a stuffed toy.

It is quite a waste of material – but maybe the remnants ended up in someone’s punching bag!

jpellizzi/Reddit Source: jpellizzi/Reddit

29. A die inside a die

This is the photo that sparked a whole subreddit devoted to “things inside things.”

It looks like someone wanted to create a heavier and larger die and had some extras lying around from the last run.

Seems like a good way to reuse and recycle.

The bonus is you have another die if you break the first one!

30. Crane fly inside a roll of tape

An employee was getting ready to seal up a box when they discovered a crane fly had invaded the factory and ended up sealed between some layers.

Isn’t this kind of how Jurassic Park started?

31. Women’s deodorant inside shoe deodorizer

It’s great to repurpose things, but this just seems like false advertising.

What we really want to know is which one is more expensive – because we’re willing to bet it’s the women’s product.

32. A loaf of bread inside a loaf of bread

Well that’s a little odd, especially since factories that produce these loaves are closely monitored.

The good news is that now you can make a bunch of tiny sandwiches!

The bad news is that you’re stuck with some really oddly-shaped larger slices.

33. A crawdad inside a bass

Yeah, we get it, circle of life and all that.

But that’s one hungry bass if it just ate a crawdad and went back for more when it saw the fisherman’s bait.

It was his gluttony that killed him in the end.

34. A hippo diaper inside of a rope

We never really thought about what might be inside a rope – and I guess we assumed it was just more string.

But there are dozens of photos floating around showing the different types of diaper plastic that are used on the inside.

How odd.

We can only assume it was extra and no one is “recycling” used diapers.

35. A wasp nest inside a railing

This has to be the least safe balcony railing ever.

Not only was it broken after simply being leaned on, it’s full of wasps!

peanut_ass/Reddit Source: peanut_ass/Reddit

36. A die inside a Knight

Apparently, the factories that make game pieces have a lot of old products lying around.

Again, we’re just grateful that this stuff is being used instead of winding up in the trash.

37. A punching bag full of old clothes

When this person’s punching bag finally felt its last blow, it burst open to reveal old clothes.

Hey, at least they’re not in the ocean!

Our only concern would be how clean they (but only once they were laying all over our floor).

38. A face in a margarine container

Of course it’s just a visual anomaly, but we’d still be freaked out to open our food containers and see a face.

Especially one that looked so disappointed in us!

39. 6 AAAA batteries inside a 9-volt battery

AAAA, AAA, and AA batteries all have the same voltage (1.5V).

That means putting 6 of them together equals 9 volts.

And more and more people are opening up their 9V batteries (which technically isn’t a great idea) to find that’s exactly what’s inside.

40. A water bottle inside a dog toy

Recycling is great, but it’s a little creepy to have to wonder if someone once had their mouth on that water bottle before it made its way into a dog toy.

Any germs would be long gone, but since the label is still intact it doesn’t appear to have been sanitized.

Then again, it could have just been an unused bottle.

Now we know what makes that crinkling sound inside dog toys purchsed in China!
