“I’ll take care of it” is a statement that we often hear from men. It’s because men are supposed to be naturally talented in DIY projects, lifting heavy things, repairs, and even finding solutions to everyday problems.

However, that’s not always the case.

The reality is, men really do want to do all of these things because it proves that they are capable, but sometimes, listening too much to your ego can be disastrous.

In fact, safety is one thing that men seem to disregard when they focus on a project. To prove that, here are 52 photos of when a man decides that he can do anything no matter how dangerous it is.

Getting the car in the garage with only the press of a button seemed like the best idea ever. However, all it took was someone pressing the button at the wrong time just once to result in this.

They wanted to have lunch in the shade, so they made themselves some shade. This was not approved by and safety organization ever.

Sometimes, you need to lift a vehicle up to do some repairs. Usually, one would use a lift or a car jack.

Yes, carrying the sofa down the stairs will probably take longer. However, those extra three minutes could help you avoid a trip to the hospital.
