1 – They are vicious from the start
German Shepherd puppies are definitely not the cuddly type. Don’t be fooled by the adorable face. These dogs are not to be messed with.
2 – They are never playful.
You will not be able to play with a German Shepherd. They hate fetch and refuse to learn tricks.
3 – They are very dangerous, even when they are very small.
German Shepherds can be dangerous so never trust their innocent looks. No matter how small they are.
4 – They are not at all entertaining.
German Shepherds are known for being boring and you will never be entertained by yours. It will just lay in the corner and sleep.
5 – They can’t be trusted around babies.
German Shepherds and children don’t get along. So if you have a baby, think again. German Shepherds are not the dog for you.
6 – They are not good with small children either.
German Shepherds don’t like children and they will not get along with them. They can not be lifelong friends and won’t look out for your child.
7 – German Shepherds are not ideal for the elderly.
They are not good guard dogs and they will not watch out for you and keep you safe. They are terrible companions and they can’t even be trained to be helpful!
8 – German Shepherds don’t get along with other dogs.
If you have other dogs, a German Shepherd will not like them. They will not be friendly to them as soon as they meet them and they most certainly will not enjoy the other dog’s companionship.

German Shepherds and other pets just don’t mix. They are not at all interested in playing with or enjoying your other pets. They are true loners.

If you’re a cat lover, one of the best reasons not to adopt a German Shepherd is that you will never see a German Shepherd and a kitten together. They are, after all, mortal enemies.
11 – German Shepherds are lazy and hate exercise.
If you are an exercise enthusiast, them German Shepherds are not the dogs for you. They will never go on daily runs with you.
12 – Don’t even think about getting some downtime if you own a German Shepherd.
They always want to be entertained and are never still for a moment. They don’t take long, leisurely naps with you.
13 – German Shepherds cannot learn to fetch.
They do not do tricks so don’t even try to get them to. German Shepherds hate doing tricks and learning new things.

You will not enjoy leisurely walks with your German Shepherd. They are not leash walkers.

German Shepherds are just cranky dogs. They just never look like they are happy. You can see it in their face. They never smile.

Although their coats may look soft and irresistible, they are not. You will not have any trouble resisting the urge to cuddle up with your German Shepherd. Besides, they hate being petted.

No matter how cute they look, don’t be fooled. Those adorable faces and harmless looks would fool anyone but beware.
24 – They are never curious and every facial expressions is beastly.
German Shpeherds are never curious about things and they are not for the adventure-seeker. They are not the type of dog that makes life fun, interesting, and eventful.
25 – They get even more vicious as they get older.
German Shepherds don’t get wiser with age. You won’t find them more faithful and reliable. Yeah. Adopting an older German Shepherd is definitely out of the question.
26 – They are not the type of dogs that become heroes.
One of the greatest reasons not adopt a German Shepherd is they shrink in the face of danger and would never be there to defend you and your family. They are fearful creatures.
27 – All German Shepherds look alike.
Since all German Shepherds look alike, there’s really no options. You will not get to chose from a variety of dogs.
28 – German Shepherds are not good performers.
If showing off is your thing, your German Shepherd is not going to impress. They don’t like learning tricks and performing for others.
29 – They are not the outdoor enthusiasts and would rather stay inside.
German Shepherds hate climbing, surfing, hiking, and exploring. They will never want to go along.
